Question: Teenage son has hypothyroidism.

Story: I was in a motorcycle accident about 18 years ago. The peddle went through my foot and "nailed" it to the ground. They thought I would lose the foot. I was able to keep it. Over time, developed diabetes ... and it settled in the damaged foot. This time, "for sure" -- I would lose the foot. The prosthetic foot was already complete and ready to attach after the operation.
